from City Council
- Note
that City hall's opening hours are now back to the regular schedule:
from 8:45 am to noon and from 1 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
- Here
are the main items of the City Council's meeting of September 2nd:
- The
City is now in the process of reviewing the town planning regulations.
The Council shared the decision to add more public hearings to
what is already required by the ministère
des Affaires municipales, Sport et Loisir. As such, public
consultations will take place in each district of Bromont and
citizen will also be invited to express their concerns on the
Bromont.com
website. More information will also be made public in the
next issue of Voici
Bromont which will be devoted to the reviewing process.
- Many
events recently took place in Bromont and complaints concerning
the peace and quiet of certain neighbourhoods were made by groups
of citizens. The council has asked the city's administration to
review the situation in order to prevent certain events from disturbing
the quality of life of many Bromonters.
