note that City Hall and the Centre communautaire will be closed
for the holidays from December 20th to January 4th. The school library
will be closed from December 21st to January 5th and the Centre
sportif et culturel will be closed December 25th, 26th, 31st and
January 1st.

The
Bromont Fire department is still seeking candidates to fill a volunteer
firefighter opening. The Fire department will provide the proper
training to the chosen candidate. Contact the Fire department at

As
part of the
town planning regulations reviewing process, a public consultation
requested by law took place on December 1st. Following this meeting,
the City will adopt the amendments, if any, regarding zoning regulations
during the special Council meeting of December 17th.

- Mayor
Pauline Quinlan has asked the President of the Val-des-Cerfs school
board, Mrs Viviane Schofield to maintain for the next two years
the present situation regarding the division of the school territory.

Quinlan has signed the «Déclaration d'Helsinki pour
un dialogue mondial des villes sur la société de
l'information».

for the course to take place.

Children
from Bromont are invited to enjoy a very special celebration put
together by L'Association des pompiers volontaires with none other
than Santa Claus himself ! And to keep the little ones busy until
his arrival, sleigh rides and a magician will provide the entertainment.
So join the fun on December 6th starting at 12:30 pm at the no.3
fire station located at 15, rue du Ciel in the industrial park.

year's "Cercle des fermières de Bromont" annual
bake sale is scheduled to take place on December 7th at the Saint-François-Xavier

December 19th, the City will proceed with the official launch of
the "Circuit patrimonial" (patrimonial route/trail). More

scheduled activity for Le
club horticole de Bromont: on December 9th at 7 pm, Mrs Véronique
Tanguay presents a conference on the use of medicinal plants. Visit

December 31st at 7 pm will take place the "Marche de la Paix",
a few kilometres walk through the streets of Bromont. Starting point,
the Centre sportif et culturel hallway. For more information, you
