News from City Council

  • Transports Québec is presently doing some roadworks at exit 78. The overpass will be closed for the week.

  • A "Welcome Basket" is now under way in order to provide useful information to new residents. You recently moved to Bromont and wish to know more on services and resources available, subscribe by filling out our online form. You may also subscribe by filling out the form included in the next issue of Voici Bromont.

  • A reminder that July 7th is the due date for the next tax payment.

News from our community

  • Summer is here and so is the West Nile virus according to what has been reported in the news. Visit Health Canada's website for more information.

  • L'association des premiers répondants de Bromont is still seeking candidates in order to provide the most effective service as possible to all. For more information, you can reach Christian Brunelle at info@prbromont.org or by phone at 534-5383.

  • Need a little help keeping your kids busy this summer? Find out what Le Service des loisirs, de la culture et de la vie communautaire has to offer.

  • From June 5th to the 8th, the Olympic Site will host the Bromont CCI Three Day Event. This is a wonderful occasion to discover more on equestrian competitions since the entrance is free for everyone. Competitions begin at 8 am until 4 pm.

  • The Saint-François-Xavier church invites one and all to its annual dinner party and dance on Saturday the 7th. Sunday June 8th, Bromont's married couples are invited to a special mass and brunch to celebrate their wedding anniversaries. Tickets are available for both events at the presbytery or by contacting Father Réal Lanoie at 534-2181.

  • A new family restaurant is now open for business in Bromont. La Trattoria located within L'Auberge Bromont offers classic italian cuisine and also features a wide selection of oven-baked pizzas.

  • The month of June for many Bromonters means the return of the International Bromont, one of Canada's most prestigious equestrian event. From June 17th to the 22nd, you are invited to attend these international competitions at the Olympic site from 8 am to 4 pm. Tickets are available on the premises for the amount of 10$. Bromont residents are welcomed to take advantage of the free tickets that were given out with the latest issue of Voici Bromont.

  • From June 23rd to the 27th, the Parcours du Vieux Village golf course will host the 18th Canadian Club Champions Championship. Presented by The Royal Canadian Golf Association, more than 150 golfers are scheduled to participate in this amateur championship.

  • The Beaux dimanches de Bromont will start a new season on June the 29th. The well known Bromont vocal ensemble Les Jazzeries will perform for this occasion. The concert starts at 4 pm at the John-Savage Park. In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Arena.
