  • Again this year, a garage sale is to be held at the arena on May 14th, from 9 am to 3 pm. A limited number of tables are available for a fee of $15, $20 or $25. You can reserve yours by calling 534-0041.

  • The fifth edition of the Chocolate Fest will take place May 21-23 and May 28th-39th.

  • Listen to a sample of the artist's lyricsThere are still a few tickets available for Perry Canestrari and its choir who will sing Spring arrival, Friday May the 13th, at 8 pm in Bromont's St-François-Xavier Church. Contact Lola Landes at 263-7124 or at City Hall at 534-2021. Income tax receipts will be handed for a part of the purchase price by the BMP Hospital Foundation.



Community life

  • The "Club horticole de Bromont" invites you to their "Buy and trade day" on May 21st at Jean and Denise Laurin residence, 66 rue André (10 am to noon).

  • Cycling season is officialy here:

    • The Centre national de cyclisme de Bromont offers a wide array of training programs for beginners as well as more experienced cyclists which include mountain bike, road and BMX.

    • Although the training programs organized by the Club sportif Bromont have begun, there is still time to join. More information on the website or by phone at 539-2324.

    • If a little dirt doesn't scare you off, you will be pleased to know that the mountain bike trails of Skibromont.com are now open (weekends only until June 8th). Season pass available at a special rate until May 31st.

    • Cycling on the Estriade bike path certainly is an enjoyable way to admire the beautiful scenery of Bromont and the surroundings. For those who wish to discover more than what the Estriade has to offer, this 21 kilometers bike path gives access to a complete network made of more than 400 kilometers.

  • May 21st and 22nd, more than 1000 mountain bikers are expected to take part in the Coupe Canada/ Coupe Québec Bromont competiton (X-country and downhill). Spectacular can very well describe the "Bromont 12 Hour Challenge" (Sunday noon to midnight). Wether performing solo or within a team, mountain bikers will give all that they have!

  • Here is the list of events scheduled to take place at the Olympic Equestrian Site in May:

    • May 14th: Hunter Pace - Horse Rallye (Montreal Hunt Club).

    • May 19th-22nd: International Can-Am Combined Driving Competition - selection trials for world championships. Free access for spectators.
