Development (Bromont) Inc. breaks ground for its new world-class
facility in Bromonts Industrial Park

Located within the territory are
two (2) industrial parks measuring a total of more than 7,000
acres (close to 3000 hectares). Owned by private corporations
and by the City of Bromont, close to 5000 workers from Bromont,
Granby,
Cowansville,
Sherbrooke
and many surrounding municipalities travel each day to one of
Bromont's industrial parks.
The
Technoparc Bromont (high technology industrial park)
This
park offers 6 500 acres (2 632 hectars) of land. Located at exit
74 of the Eastern Townships highway (Autoroute 10) close to the
United States, the park hosts industries such as IBM
Canada, GE
Canada, and Dalsa
Semiconductor,
Qualité-T-Tube, Spécialités Industrielles
Canada, Thomas & Betts, Unifix, Technologie de l'Estrie, MiQro
Innovation Collaborative Center (C2MI),
etc. The
Eastern Townships Regional Airport as well as one of the City
of Bromont Fire station are located at the hearth of the industrial
park.
The
City of Bromont also has a New
Economy Center in a building located at 50, Gaspé Road
where established businesses have benefited from InvestQuebec,
the provincial government financing program.
The
Pacific industrial park
Measuring
230 acres (93 hectars), this park is located on Pacific street
and hosts small and medium sized businesses such as Devden, Axel
J. LLC, TSB international, Odessa Canada, Produits Tourval, Paul
Carbonneau et fils, Construction DJL, Quali-T-Fab, Pavnat, Electest,
etc.
