Description:
Located in a rural area, this is Bromont's largest neighbourhood.
The Yamaska river crosses this district. The Eastern Townships
freeway exit 74 leads to this district through Pierre Laporte
boulevard which links both cities of Granby and Cowansville. This
neighbourhood features residential developments located either
in Mont Brome and Mont Gale and close to the river.
Infrastructure:
The Bromont high
technology industrial park seats in this district where multinationals
are established: IBM, GE, Dalsa, Québecor and others. The
park facilities include fiber optic communications and high-voltage
lines directly feeding the corporations' power needs. Fire station
#3, located within the park, boasts a tall-ladder truck. The regional
airport is also located there as well as the city's water-management
