Mont Brome mountain is home to SkiBromont.com resort which offers year round activities. During the winter, the resort offers both day and night alpine skiing and snowboarding . In the summertime, water slides and more can be enjoyed by visitors. Hikers and mountain bikers can discover the mountain on its many trails and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Eastern Townships. Golf enthusiasts will have a difficult time choosing between four fabulous golf courses, two of which have integrated housing developments.

Bromont is also a well known place for horseback riding. Host to the 1976 Olympics equestrian competitions, Bromont's Centre Equestre now hosts prestigious ridings competitions such as the Bromont International. The Centre also offers private or group riding lessons, as well as training, boarding and the sale and transportation of horses.

Horseback riding enthusiasts can also visit Équitation Lombart establishment located nearby which offer horse rentals and horseback riding trails in wooded areas of Bromont.

If cycling is your passion, you'll be pleased to know that Bromont can be reached by the La Villageoise bicycle path which connects Bromont to l'Estriade bike path. This major bike path was built jointly by the municipalities of Granby, Waterloo, the Townships of Shefford and Bromont. L'Estriade boasts an enviable reputation: all 21 kilometres are paved and sculptures grace its route; in-line skating has been allowed since 1998 under proper supervision. From L'Estriade, cyclists travelling west can reach the La Montérégiade I and II bicycle paths and, when travelling east will meet La Campagnarde bicycle path.

Another impressive feature is The Centre National de cyclisme de Bromont (Bromont National Cycling Centre) inaugurated in 2001. The Olympic velodrome is accessible to high-calibre athletes as well as to amateur cyclists. Various programs and activities are available to cater the needs of all levels of cyclists: track school, track rentals and bicycle rentals. Major competitions take place during the summer and spectators are always welcome.

Bromont is also the host of many popular cycling events. Le "Mondial du Vélo" a non-profit organization organises many national and international competitions which take place throughout the summer.

The Yamaska River which criss-crosses around and through the City of Bromont offers water sports opportunities like canoeing and kayaking.
